Dear visitor.
Moi-même began as an off-beat experiment of combining contrasting musical genres. During years of playing, a unique sound arose, forming a powerful whole without the members’ diverse musical roots being lost. The musicians respect and embrace each other’s differences. Over time, this collaboration grew into a close friendship. The band writes mostly about self-experienced insecurities and emotions, because let’s face it: life can be weird, unpredictable and sometimes a bit frightening. By writing songs about aspects of life that give us chills, Moi-même normalizes opening up about such emotions. In this manner, the band serves as an emotional outlet, not just for themselves but also for their listeners.
